Tomsk eco-products were presented in the International Exhibition in India

BIOFACH INDIA is the largest international organic food fair in India, which provides an ideal business platform for interested parties, retailers, exporters / importers.

On November 7-9, there was held the International Exhibition “BIOFACH INDIA 2019” at the exhibition complex Greater Noida. Among the participants in the events that presented their products at the collective stand of small and medium-sized businesses in the region was a delegation of Tomsk SMEs.

BIOFACH INDIA is the largest international organic food fair in India, which provides an ideal business platform for interested parties, retailers, exporters / importers. Councils, national pavilions, certification bodies, consultants and associations from India and around the world come together to manage a business. Such high status of visitors and exhibitors is a defining feature of this fair in the Indian market.

Five Tomsk SMEs Siberecotrade LLC, Individual Entrepreneur Sizova N.V., Individual Entrepreneur Matveev A.G., EcoSiber LLC, Sibereco LLC, presented their products at the collective stand of the Tomsk Region. It is worth to highlight a large number of attendance of the Tomsk collective stand during three days of the exhibition.

Besides participating in the collective exhibition, representatives of Tomsk companies held direct b2b negotiations with distributors and purchasers of products from India, China, Europe and other countries.

“The exhibition is very useful and interesting, I was able to estimate the demand for our products in the Indian market and understood that it would be difficult to compete in a certain field, for example, in the production of Ayurvedic oils, because India has a  large variety of this product at low cost. I think it is necessary to organize production in India. Thanks to participation in the exhibition, we have come up with new ideas, we will continue our work ”, - Individual Entrepreneur Sizova N.V. said.

The participation of Tomsk business in the exhibition was organized by the Tomsk CCI jointly with the Business Development Fund, the Administration of the Tomsk Region, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia as part of the national project “Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Support of Individual Entrepreneurship Initiatives”.
